UDDAN IT in the front-row of AI and Low-Code Developments

If we only consider a marketing and communications angle, it’s easy to understand why corporations jumped so quickly into the AI conversation on the record. Digital forums, LinkedIn pages, Blogs, Magazines, Podcasts and so on were massively navigated by analytical content and apparently deep perspectives regarding AI and its impact on the world industries from the very first glimpse of future intelligence developments on the rise – or was it a bit later on, considering the real current technology status?

Existential questions aside, it’s a bit like crypto and, somehow, like soccer. Everyone has something to say, preferably remarking on a tone of deep knowledge, even when there’s almost nothing more to add to the classics “AI will increase the speed of this…” or “AI will revolutionize the industries and impact the way we live”. – No doubt about that. Behind the noise and slogans, there’s also tons of wonderful scientific knowledge and tools. It just happens that you need time to find it.

Nevertheless, if it is almost certain that some of the predictions we hear about will happen, just like charcoal produced similar events (at the time) along the industrial revolution, it’s also a fact that AI Developments and Deploys still take a lot of jobs, demanding hours and brains within the IT industry.

Which may lead us to assume that more than a half of the marketing and company leaders and critics that we hear speaking about AI have never been truly involved in an AI project, besides that time when they’ve interacted with some Insurance or Telecom Client Support Bot. But let’s face it: that’s not a project, it’s just a regular daily-life situation.

OutSystems, ODC and AI Agent Builder

By now it’s extremely well documented and benchmarked how Low-Code developments have impacted the speed and accuracy of IT Project Delivery and Application Developments. OutSystems, as the world-leader in the Low-Code segment, have been remarking one day after another, from the past 15 years, how a technological vision redefinition, based on code reduction and new development methodologies, really change market narratives, reshaping business architecture and business processes landscapes.

With the release of ODC (OutSystems Development Cloud) a couple of years ago, considering a potential use-case parity over OS O11 expected to be checked before the end of 2024 and the AI Agent Builder running on the platform, allowing a direct and native integration of AI in OS apps, it’s easy to infer that those who have truly experience in Low-Code developments and, in this case, in ODC and AI Agent Builder, are one step effectively closer to the future in terms of Artificial Intelligence developments and implementation.

Our journey

With more than 15 years of experience in application developments, more precisely in Low-Code and OutSystems developments, innovation and progress learning are nothing new in the UDDAN IT ecosystem.

ODC was released in 2022 and, around 2 years after its first version, UDDAN IT is leading corporate developments in this technology from the very beginning, in some cases, projects that are running for more than one year, permanently iterating with the business structure and delivering true value.

On the AI side, 2024 has also been pretty remarkable with the development of our own Model. An AI-Driven system, using NLP (Natural Language Processing) and Voice Recognition tools to facilitate the interaction with the application through voice commands.

Still on AI this year, we developed the UDDAN IT Data Organizer. An application designed to organize and categorize received emails using AI Agent Builder.

Both are ready to be integrated in any kind of application, representing a great step towards the use of futuristic tools developed and implemented by UDDAN IT.

Moving Forward

As human connections and relations, in a permanent and always available world of  interconnectivity, changes the way we see and manage our life and our work, there’s no doubt regarding the importance of adopting quicker and more accurate tools to answer all the daily demands.

The so-called citizen developer is not here yet, but sure it’s on the rise. And while the true innovative technology progression still relies on programming and real scientific knowledge, it’s more important than ever that tech and tech-related companies keep their foot on the ground, taking time to understand and translate what are the real challenges and the best options and practical solutions, so that developments and implementations may correctly sustain a good and healthy systems, from it’s deep tech foundations.

Since we firstly adopted our tagline “IT Consulting for the future”, we were not only looking into the future of programming, on adopting Agile and Low-Code approaches, as we were also trying to build from scratch a sustainable and practical vision regarding  correctly position ourselves as a trustful tech supplier, where in-house knowledge and experience comes first.
